Grants

The Institute for Research and Policy on Acceleration (IRPA) had two successful years (in 2007 and 2008) of grant funding to support research on academic acceleration. Titles and abstracts of the IRPA-funded research are provided below. Although we have had two successful years of grant funding, we will not be sponsoring a grant competition for 2009. • Acceleration Policy Guidelines

  Guidelines for Developing an Academic Acceleration Policy, a document from IRPA, the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), and the Council of State Directors of Programs for the Gifted was released at the 2009 NAGC conference. Guidelines is now available for download.

• Nation Deceived

  A Nation Deceived (Volume I) has been translated into Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
